Use Le Chateliers principle to help you answer the following questions. The systems shown below are all at equilibrium. To restore equilibrium when some extra N 2 is removed from the following system - 3 H 2 (g) + N 2 (g) 2 NH 3 (g) - which way does the reaction need to shift?

acc. yo le chateliers principal the equilibrium will try to counteract against the unbalanced concenteration

hence to counteract against decreased conc. of N2 the equilibrium will increase N2 conc & hence

the reaction will shift in backward direction
