An ideal gas is allowed to expand both reversibly and irreversbly in an isolated system . If T i is the initial temp. and T f is the final temp, then which of the following is correct...??? PLZ explain all of them. (why r they correct and why incorrect) 1) (T f )rev = (T f )irrev 2) T f = T i for both reversible and irreversible process. 3) T f irrev > T f rev 4) T f > T i for reversible process but T f = T i for irreversible processes.

An ideal gas is allowed to expand both reversibly and irreversbly in an isolated system . If Ti is the initial temp. and Tf is the  final temp, then which of the following is correct...??? PLZ explain all of them. (why r they correct and why incorrect)

1) (Tf)rev = (Tf)irrev

2) Tf = Ti for both reversible and irreversible process.

3) Tfirrev > Tfrev

4) Tf > Ti for reversible process but Tf = Ti for irreversible processes.
