when speed is 10kmph east, a train appears to be moving 'north-east'.when i increased my velocity to 30kmph east it appears to be moving north.what speed should i move north so that train appears to move exactly south east? i have tried to form two equations and have found velocity of train and velocity of train w.r.t man. but can the latter remain constant for both the cases? I have done it by using root(A^2+B^2+2ABcostheta) formula and not by vectors. The answer to the above question is 50. how do i get it?

Now you can find everything.

Hope it helps
