There are 2 types of revolution of earth : (1) Revolution around the sun (2) Revolution on its own axis.
The earth revolves around the sun at an approx speed of 10800 km/hr and completes one revolution in around 365.242100 solar days . The earth revolves around its own axis at an approx speed of 1674.4 km/hr and completes one revolution in roughly 24 hrs.
