Use PMI
n = 1,  we find that it is true.
now assume that it is true for n = k
hence
 
4k + 15k – 1 = 9 Q
 
now prove it for n = k+1
 
hence
4k+1 + 15(k+1) – 1
4 * 4k + 15k + 15 – 1
4 * 4k + 15k +45 k+ 15 – 19 – 1 – 45k + 19
4 ( 4k + 15k -1) – (45k -18)
 
4 ( 4k + 15k -1) – 9*(5k – 2)
 
Hence we see that the whole term is also divisible by 9
