On mixing acetone and chloroform, the hydrogen bond is formed between them. Due to this vapour pressure of the solution formed by them decreases. Hence the solution shows a negative deviation from Raoult’s law.

Chloroform and acetone mixture is a non ideal solution. It shows negative deviation from Raoult's law. It forms maximum boiling azeotrope.
