That’s a very good question !

As we know, charge of an electron is 1.6 x 10^-19 C.

The number of electrons to be removed from silver coin to make it electrically chareged of 2.4 C.

n = Q/q ----> ( 2.4 / 1.6 x 10^-19 ) C.

= 1.5 x 10^19 electrons
