A charge of +5 microcoulomb is at certain distance from a charge of -10 microcoulomb, so that force at +5 microcoulomb is F newton. Now a third charge of -2 microcoulomb is placed at a distance of 10 cm from +5. Find the force of +5 microcoulomb due to the charge -10 microcoulomb

Dear student,
The force on +5mC due to -10mC is independent of the presence of all other charges and is simply given by the Coulomb’s law. Hence, still the force on +5mC charge due to -10mC charge is F Newtons.
