The y-component of the magnetic field does not induce emf across the ends of the rod since the rod lies in the plance containing magnetic field and velocity vector.

The emf induced across the ends PQ due to component of magnetic field in z-direction is

Bvl sin53^{\circ}=4\times 2\times 5 sin53^{\circ}=32V
