the answer should be 1/3 i.e 0.333. the question can be solved by using Ohm`s law V=IR. => R=V/I . By using the angles provided in the figure, R(A) and R(B) can be found and their ratio as well.

Hi Megha!
By basic math, slope of a line is tan$\dpi{80} \Theta$ . For line B $\dpi{80} \theta$=30 $\dpi{80} \therefore tan30=1/\sqrt{3}$ . For line A, $\dpi{80} \theta =90-30=60 \therefore tan60=\sqrt{3}$. But from graph $\dpi{80} tan\theta =I/V = 1/R$ [ohms law V=IR]. $\dpi{80} \therefore R_{A}=1/tan30=\sqrt{3}$ and similarly, $\dpi{80} \therefore R_{B}=1/tan60=1/\sqrt{3}$. Ratio of resistance of A to that of B is, $\dpi{80} R_{A}/R_{B}= \sqrt{3} \left ( \sqrt{3} \right )=3 \therefore R_{A}:R_{B}=3:1$.

Thats it ...
