Peak value of ac current means maximum value of  i = (0.5) sin (314 t + 60$\dpi{80} \degree$ ) mA, which occurs when
sin (314 t + 60$\dpi{80} \degree$ ) is maximum. We know that maximum value of sine function is 1.
$\dpi{100} \therefore$ peak value of current is i0 = (0.5) . 1 mA = 0.5 mA
