Dear Student,
1 ohm and 2ohm which are in series at the top (1+2 = 3 ohm) will be in parallel with the 2ohm and 4 ohm resisters which are in series at the bottom(2+4 = 6). On parallel operation for this resisters, you will get the equivalent resistor as (6*3/(6+3) = 2 ohm). Now this 2ohm will be in series with 4 ohm shown in the middle (2+4 = 6ohm). and fillnaly the resultant would be in parallel with the 2ohm at the top left.
So final equivalent resistance between A & B will be (6*2/6+2 = 12/8 = 3/2 ohm) 3/2 ohm.
(Redraw the simpler figure by keeping A on left side and B on right)
Thanks.
