The equivalent resistance will be 2 ohm. 
Firstly, have a 2D view of the region of 5 ohm resistance . Then apply folding symmetry about point A and B. This would remove 8 ohm resistance.
Now draw the remaining circuit. Now , you can apply mirror symmetry which would help to break the junction and remove two 5 ohm resistors .
Now , you can easily solve the remaining simple circuit formed .
