current is a scalar quantity although it has a direction as well but still because it does not follow vector algebra therefore it is a scalr quantity.
IN CIRCUITS WE DEFINE THAT DIRECTION OF CURRENT IS DE DIRECTION OPP TO THE MOTION OF ELECTRONS.IT DOESNT MESN THAT ITS A VECTOR , IT REPRESENTS ONLY THE RATE OF FLOW OF CHARGES. AND WE KNOW THAT ELECTRIC CHARGE IS A SCALAR QUANTITY.
ACCELERATION (RATE OF CHANGE OF VELOCITY )IS A VECTOR, BECAUSE VELOCITY IS A VECTOR.AND THE ANGULAR DISPLACEMENT THETA IS ALSO A SCALAR THOUGH IT HAS DIRECTION OF ANTICLOCKWISE/CLOCKWISE........
