Respected sir,I posted this question in thermal mechanics section 3 times but I don't get the solution yet.So,please sir solve this question as soon as possible. Q-The temperature coefficient of resistance of a wire is 0.00125 0 C -1 .At 300K, its resistance is 1ohm.The resistance of the wire will be 2 ohm at Ans-1,127K I have a little doubt.Why we should not solve it as 2=1(1+0.00125t)here t is change in temperature. It is a humble request to solve this question. I need it very badly .

I have a little doubt.Why we should not solve it as 2=1(1+0.00125t)here t is change in temperature.
