hello sir! i need to ask that how i should prepare for my IIT 2012? now a days i am feeling very upset as i have not started preparing for iit but now i m getting serious about it. so can u tell me about this.

You dont need to be upset,you havent lost much time.Good that you realized the need to study.In first year you should try to understand the topics conceptually,the first year topics are easy and are like foundations for the topics you have in second year,if you are conceptually sound in these topics second year tiopics will be very easy,which in turn leads you to get a good rank in IIT JEE.Do as many problems you can ,understand the basics well.Practise and hardwork are the things which bring you rank in competetive exam.
