I think, you have done a mistake in typing your query. Please check it . And regarding the AIR and catagory ranks, basically admission will be made on basis of all india rank. In catagory, there are some seats reserved for that catagory which gives advantage over the general rank. There may be a possiblity dat  you may not get a college and branch of your interest in General ranking but as some seats reserved catagorywise so you get your option in your catagory.
