I GOT NIT PATNA ECE BRANCH IN FIRST ROUND SEAT ALLOTMENT WITH HS QUOTA. AS FROM THIS TIME 10 NEW NITS HAVE BEEN OPENED. ALSO NSIT & DCE ARE TAKING ADMISSION COMPLETELY ON THE BASIS OF AIEEE RESULTS. INSTITUTES LIKE THAPAR,IIIT-H ,PEC etc ARE TAKING THROUGH AIEEE RESULTS. THE RESULTS OF NESTNISER ARE ALSO OUT. AFTER CONSIDERING ALL THESE ASPECTS IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF ELEVATION IN SEAT ALLOTMENT IN AIEEE UPTO 5TH ROUND. MY RANK IS 12694 & I HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED CHOICE NO.101 IN FIRST ROUND.

Considering all the aspects, yes you have the great chances of getting the old nit but getting branch like cs and electrical will be bit difficult.
