my AIR in iit jee is 2841 i would get branches like biotech, Naval and ocean, metallurgy, agriculture etc in old iits. But in new iits i would get very good branches like electrical , mechanical, cs etc. which will you suggest ? I would prefer iit madras and bhubaneswar.

Hi SAI ,

 

The information you have mentioned above is totally correct you will have a chance to get good branches in New IIT's . 

Thus i wud suggest you to go for them instead of compromising on a branch in a old IIT. As its important to like the stream you studying only then you can excel in it . You will have a chance to get a good branch in IIT - Bhubaneswar thus you can go for it .
