In the JEE Mains syllabus there is “calculations of empirical formulae and molecular formulae” under “purification and characterisation of organic compounds” Which page no. and heading does it come in the Textbook ? Empirical and molecular formulae is the topic of the chapter Some basic concepts of chemistry, 1st chapter of class 11th. You will learn how to find them and after practising them you will get clear about the methodology.
