I wrote my 12th exam in 2018 and i also gave jee mains but could not clear it . I got 74.4 but could not clear qualifying percentage but if i am in the top 20 percentile of 2018 of my board . And if i give mains and advance in 2019 and qualify in it . Then will i get admission in colleges based on the top 20 percentile of 2018??

your admission in colleges depends competely on the result and ranking of your jee exam and not on your percentile in boards.rather than it your percentile is only seen for qualifying to attempt for jee mains.
