Depending on your interest level, you could opt for an electronics career or a combined career with implementation of information processing.

Electronics and communications would have a combination of subfields such as signal processing, telecommunication, VLSI design etc.
A career in electronics would more focus indepth working of electronic components, architecture, etc.
So, choosing electrical and electronics / Electronics and communications depends purely on your interest level.
