Definitely. It is possible for a student who is a dropper to get into IIT with high rank such that he can avail top branches. It is possible if you work really hard and be positive. Keep fighting till the last. Think it this way, droppers have an advantage over freshers as they have already experienced the stressed environment before and are familiar. Also they can concentrate for the preparation fully as they have no other exams to attempt to. Freshers have their 12thexams and very less time afterwards to prepare for JEE.
