a das gupta was a book which was advised in the times when IITJEE had two stages: objective and subjective.

Now that the paper is objective, the book, even if very good, doesnot suit the needs.

But there are objective das gupta's for all the three subject which you should prcatice.

For differential calculus I would prefer you arihant. I can't say about thomas finney because I never read form this book. but arihant is definitely a great book for complete preparation.
