sir, please sketch the graph of the following function.....

y=[log₂x] for 1/2 <₌x<₌4

y=[log₂x]     for 1/2 ≤x≤4

for find out the critical point of the function where it cross the intiger point

x =1/2 ,1,2,4

these are the critical point

1 . at x=1/2

y = [log₂1/2]

    =-1

2. for 1/2<x <1

   -1<log₂x <0

 and   [log₂x]=-1

3 . for  1 ≤x<2

0≤ log₂x <1

 and   [log₂x]=0

4 . for  2 ≤x<4

1 ≤ log₂x <2

 _{and   [log2x]=1}

5 at x=4

 log₂x =2

and [log₂x] =2
