If you are really interested in Physics then I would say we have some good professsors here, you might be knowing Prof HC Verma. You may not find much students in Physics because most of them switch to other braches after first year, probably because it does not comes out what they expect in physics (if you are already aware of the content it is well and good) but the content overall is research based as an enthusiast of Physics.
