Hi, I am in the 12th and will write my jee in 2013. I am highly interested in aerospace engineering. Someone told me that the packages for aerospace are not good. This has put me off. I just wanted to know what sort of placements aerospace engineers get from an iit. If possible the companies and the salaries would be good to know.

If you do it from IITs your pakages will definately be good, dont listen to general public because they might be taking abt the trend in local colleges . In IIT Kanpur last to last year one student got 50 lpa package also. So if you are getting this branch in any IITs go for it
