Can I opt for Electrical or Mechanical in IIT, Mumbai, Delhi,Madras, Khargpur,Kanpur for 342 SC Rank??????? Or Can I opt for dual degree ????????

Do not opt for Dual Degrees or else you will be limiting your chances !

Getting IIT-Bombay will be diificult @ this rank , you may get Mechanical in it !!

But you can get any branch @ IIT-Madras/Delhi/Kanpur/Kharagpur !!

In that case this will be the preference order

1.IIT-Madras(Electrical & Electronical Engg)

2.IIT-Delhi(Electrical & Electronical Engg)

3.IIT-Kanpur(Electrical & Electronical Engg)

4.IIT-Kharagpur(Electrical & Electronical Engg)

5.IIT-Delhi(Mechanical Engg)

6.IIT-Madras(Mechanical Engg)

7.IIT-Kanpur(Mechanical Engg)

8.IIT-Kharagpur(Mechanical Engg)
