Sir, i have got air-4069 in iit jee 2009, which branch should i prefer or be getting. am i be able to get mechanical in the old IIT's ?? Please suggest me ... waiting your early reply!

Your rank is not good enough to fetch you the branch of your wish at the old IITs. At this rank the best option for you will be  : -

1. Electrical, IT-BHU
2. Mechanical, IT-BHU

and if not you could take admission in some good NITs if you have rank there.
