Sulphur ion is a mobile element or immobile...?
In the lesson called transport in plants, it is given as one of the mobile elements but when we see it in the next lesson called mineral nutrition, it is mentioned that it is a part of structural component of the cell along with calcium...
Plz clarify .....

Sulfur is immobile in plants and does not readily translocated from older leaves to young leaves

sulpher is mobile in plants see chapter 11 of NCERT (11.5.2- Translocation of mineral ions )
And in chapter 12 of NCERT sulpher is immobile which is misprinted

Sulphur is mobile as per the ch-11 ncert only/-
And in ch-12 it has been removed indicating again that sulphur is mobile element.
