Just use determinants formula to find out are and then if put x = c, 
Just equate area same.
Then you will find quadratic in C. 
Hence c will be 15 and 3
 
But as x = c = 15 will be outside of this triangle. Hence c= 15 will be eliminated.
 
Hence correct andwer should be c= 3
