The line x=c cuts the triangle with vertices(0,0),(1,1), (9,1) in two regions. For the area of the regions to be the same,c must be equal to?

Dear student
 
Just use determinants formula to find out are and then if put x = c, 
Just equate area same.
Then you will find quadratic in C. 
Hence c will be 15 and 3
 
But as x = c = 15 will be outside of this triangle. Hence c= 15 will be eliminated.
 
Hence correct andwer should be c= 3
