Image of point (2, -1) w.r.t. (1, -4)
 
Means
(1,-4) should be the mid point
 
Hence
 
(x +2)/2 = 1
x +2 = 2
x = 0
 
Now
 
(y -1)/2 = -4
y -1 = -8
y = -7
 
Hence image = (0, -7)
