find whether the points (-a, -b),[-(s+1)a,-(s+1)b] and [(t-1)a,(t-1)b] are collinear ?

three points are said to be collinear if area f the triangle formed by the three points is zero.
                                                     x1    y1    1         -a            -b         1
now lets find the area of triangle =   x2     y2    1  =   -(s+1)a     -(s+1)b   1 
                                                    x3     y3    1       -(1-t)a       -(1-t)b     1
 
exp det it is so easy,take -a and -b as common then u get all 1’s in R1 and C3
on exp it will equal to zero. so these points are collinear
