Hello student,
Given LHS=(2+w2)
Multiplying it with (2+w) we get
=(2+w)(2+w2)
=4+2w+2w2+w3
=5+2(w+w2) since w+w2=-1 and w3=1
=5-2=3
Similarly multiplying RHS by 2+w we get 3
Hence LHS=RHS
Thanks and Regards
