(1 +a + a^2) (1 + b +b^2)
= 1 + a +a^2 + b + ab + a^2 b + b^2 + b^2 a + a^2 b^2
= 1 + (a +b) + ab(a + b) + a^2 +b^2 + ab + (ab)^2
Now
a + b = sum of roots = –B/A
ab = product of roots = C/A
put these value and find your answer.
