rearranging, f(n+1)+....+f(n+k) – [f(1)+f(2)+....+f(k)]= f(k+1)+...+f(n+k) – [f(1)+f(2)+....+f(n)]
or, ∑f(n+m) – ∑f(m) = ∑f(k+r) – f(r)
hence proved
