cosec(90° – θ) = sec θ
cot(90° – θ) = tan θ
sin2 (90° – θ) = cos2 θ
Therefore,
sec2 θ – tan2 θ + sin2 55° + sin2 35°
=> (1 + tan2 θ) – tan2 θ + cos2 35° + sin2 35°
=> 1 + 1
=> 2
