only 1 real root which is positive....

heres a trick for it...

in any equation to find no. of real roots do this

count the alternating signs as in this 35x-16 have alternate signs...the number of alternate signs tells us no.of positive roots..

now replace x by -x in the equation

we will get -7x^5-35x-16=0

as there isnt a alternate signs hence it wont have any negative roots..

hence we get only one root which is positive...
