A string clamped at both the nds vibrates in it's fundamental mode. Is there any position (except the ends) which can be touched without disturbing the motion? What if the string vibrates in it's first overtone?

Dear student

Yes, at the centre.
Centre position is a node. If the string vibrates in its first overtone, then there will be two positions i.e. two nodes one is at x = 0 and other is at x = L
