Yes Punjab Engineering College(PEC) is possible but do not expect branches like CSE,EEE & ECE !!
NIT-Durgapur is always better than Punjab Engineering College(PEC) ...but if you do not get the core branches in NIT-Durgapur & by chance get Core branches in PEC,only then opt for PEC over NIT-Durgapur
