friction is besically defined as a opposing force that will be developed when one body moves or slides over anathor body or u can tell when one body moves on a surface.
for example- when a car moves on a road then friction developes on the tyre of car, and thus it will produce heating effect.
friction is always a opposing force and finally it will make the body stop moving.
