​1 –  Antibiotics are aimed to fight against bacterial infections. Since cold and flu are caued by virus. Antibiotics won’t work against them. So we antibiotics cannnot be used in cold and flu.
2 – a ) Rahul must have contracted food poisoning.
​b) Probable cause for his condition is consuming stale rice on which germinate spores of bacteria which cause food poisoning ( Bacillus cerius  in this case )as spores get favourable conditions i.e – warm conditions and nutritive substrate to grow on.
​c) As for third part of question we can say that doctor is humble as listened to patient carefully and adviced them (this is not mandatorily to be written .you can think of other values too)
