Let h be the height of water in the tank after the rain water is collected.
so
vol of water on the roof = vol of water in tank
vol of water on the roof=18 X 16.5 X 0.1 cu meter
vol of water in the tank =3.14 X 4 X 4 X h
so, ATQ
18 X 16.5 X 0.1=3.14 X16 X h
Solve and get the value of h.
h = 0.5911 m
