hi, my name is lavina . I live in roorkee and studing in kvs i want to know that “if sp=2500 and profit % = 10% .can we find cp? if yes how will?

sp=2500,p%=10%
let cp=x
p=2500-x
p%=2500-x/x*100%
a/q,
2500-x/x*100=10
250000-100x=10x
110x=250000
11x=25000
x=25000/11=2272.72

C.P+Profit=S.P and profit is 10% of C.P. This forms the equation : C.P+C.P/10 =S.P. Adding both we get 11C.P/10=2500. Solving we get 25000/11 which gibes us 2272.72.

cp=100/100+gain%*sp
100/100+10%*2500
100/110*2500
10/11*2500=2272.72
