what is the difference b/w structural formula,structure, electron-dot formula, electron-dot structure,molecular formula? pls answer quickly its urgent.....

hello, you need to the meaning of these first of all.....

structural formula is not a meaningful word. no one will ask you to talk about it, but if they do then you need to understand that they dont know english, same with electron-dot formula.

now, structure means the way the compounds exist. for example, H₂ is a compound which exists in this form: H – H.  its like a woman is woman but her body has a pear shape or rectangular shape.

now there you see i’ve shown it like there exists a small line segment with 2 Hs attached at the end. that line segment is called a bond and it represents the electron sharing. if, instead of line segment, you put 2 vertices of line segment with no line drawn in b/w them, then  that structure becomes electron dot structure.
we can’t draw structures everywhere so we use molecular formula such as H₂ which i used above
