The equation of x axis and y axis :
The equation of x axis will be-
y=0
Because there will a value of x but not y like it can be (3,0) , (-5, 0) etc.
Similarly, the equation of y axis will be-
x=0
Because there will exist the value of y but not x like (0,2) , (0,-4).
Therefore, the equation of x- axis will be y=0 and y-axis will be x=0.
