Let 7√2/5 be a rational number ,where a&b are two co prime numbers and b is not equal to 0
7√2/5=a/b
7√2=5a/b
√2=5a/b-7
√2=5a-7b)/b
Since,5a-7b)/b is a rational number but √2is an irrational number
Therefore, rational and irrational number cannot be equal
Therefore , our assumption is wrong
Which contradict the fact that 7√2/5 is a rational number
Therefore, 7√2/5 is an irrational number
