NIT Puducherry JEE Main 2022 Cutoff

NIT (National Institute of Technology) Puducherry is one of the 31 NITs in India. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs in Engineering, Science, Humanities & Social Sciences. It was established in the year 2010 and is located in Karaikal, a port town of the Union Territory of Puducherry.

It has been ranked #136 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) in 2022 among all engineering colleges in India. Its campus is spread over an area of 256 acres. The institute has a wide range of facilities, including a boys’ hostel, a girls’ hostel, a science block, a guest house, a well-equipped library, a staff residence, a grievance cell, and a playground.

NIT Puducherry has many sports facilities, clubs and societies, including an innovation club set up. Despite being relatively new, the 2022 placements for the institute have been decent. Still, students choose NIT Puducherry over NIT Goa because it is cheaper than NIT Goa in terms of tuition fees, hostel fees, food, and other expenses, the climate is pleasant throughout the year, and it often has lower cut-offs.
