IIST has discarded ISAT and from 2013, admission in IIST to undergraduate programmes (B.Tech) will be based on the CBSE All India Rank List (including category rank list), 2013. This All India Rank List carries 60% weightage of scores in the JEE Main 2013, and 40% of normalised score in Class 12th or other qualifying examinations. IIST will announce the additional eligibility criteria for B.Tech admissions at a later date.
