NIT (National Institute of Technology) Mizoram is one of the 31 NITs in India and is located at Chaltlang, Aizawl. Founded in 2010, it is an engineering and technology institute which offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs in various engineering disciplines. Over the years, NIT Mizoram has become one of the most sought-after engineering colleges in the country with a high placement record.
Right now, NIT Mizoram is working from a temporary campus that comprises 1 administrative block and 6 academic blocks. There's a separate block housing the central library. It has 4 boys' hostels and 1 girls' hostel. at Chaltlang. The Central Library also is housed in a separate block. There are 4 Boys' hostels and 1 Girls' hostel. The permanent campus is coming up at Lengpui, Aizawl district and it will spread across 190.35 acres.
The cutoff for NIT Mizoram JEE Main 2022 exam will be released by the institute on its official website along with the Session 2 results. The cutoff is the minimum rank required by the candidates to get shortlisted for the counselling and seat allotment process. It will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks for different courses and categories.

The NIT Mizoram JEE Main Cutoff 2022 will be released online on the official website of the institute in PDF format.
No, there are no interviews or group discussions conducted as a part of the admission process at NIT Mizoram. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) conduct counselling rounds based on JEE Main exam scores and 12th class marks.
Admission to NIT Mizoram will be done based on JEE Main exam scores through JoSAA counselling. A total of 6 rounds of counselling will be conducted by JoSAA for admission to NIT Mizoram and other NITs, IITs, and GFTIs. If seats remain vacant, two special rounds of counselling will be conducted by CSAB.
Since NIT Mizoram is relatively new, it offers average placements. This year, about 70% of students got placements in companies like L&T, Tech Mahindra, Vedanta, and Byju's. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA while the lowest salary package was 4 LPA.
NIT Mizoram offers B.Tech in 5 specialisations - Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. CSE is the most popular engineering branch at this institute.
